What does my race entry fee include?
Your fee includes a Boulder Dash T-Shirt, race bib and timing chip, and a killer sense of accomplishment.

I can’t make it to Packet Pickup. Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes, someone else can pick up your packet.
Will Boulder Dash refund my race fee if I cannot make it on race day?
No, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds.
Can I transfer my race number to someone else?
Yes, please email the event coordinator Tony A Peters with your transfer request. Include the registered participant’s name as well as the name of the replacement runner.
What is the minimum age for race participants?
There is no minimum age for the Boulder Dash 5K | 10K.
Is the Boulder Dash a timed event?
Yes. We use timing chips that activate when you cross the start line and stop timing when you cross the finish line.
Are baby joggers/strollers allowed?
If you choose to run with a baby jogger, you must seed yourself behind all other runners. It is your responsibility to make sure your baby jogger does not impede other runners, and you must take extra precaution to ensure your safety, your child’s safety, and the safety of the runners around you. We reserve the right to pull any participant from the race who is endangering other runners or themselves.
Are pets allowed?
We strongly discourage dogs or any animals on the course.
Where is the best place along the route for spectators to watch?
At the Finish Line which is located at the Bluegrass Spring Fling. Busses will run between the parking area/start line and the Spring Fling throughout the day, providing non-runners with an easy way to get to the finish line.
Is there a fee for spectators?
Are there water and medical stations along the race route?
Yes, the course will have a water station in the middle as well as water for the runners at the end as you cross the finish line.
There will be ambulances and medical personnel at the start line and the finish line. If you need medical attention, find the nearest medical station.
Will the race route be closed to traffic during the race?
Yes. Forsyth County police will have the road closed to car traffic as long as runners/walkers are on the race route.
Is there a time limit for completing the race?
No. We want all participants to enjoy their experience, whether running or walking.
